Starting May 9,UtilityPulse, on behalf of Welland Hydro, will be randomly contacting customers and members of the public (18 years and older) to assess the communities’ understanding of how to stay safe around electricity and electrical equipment.
The telephone surveys will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. They will gauge participants’ knowledge of safety topics related to powerlines, tampering with green transformer equipment, and other electrical hazards. Persons participating in either survey won’t be asked to provide any identifying details, such as phone numbers, home addresses, or credit card / banking information.
